TAW (Wald Industries) Limited, established on 2004, in order to expand the services provided by the WALD Group in new areas reflecting the special expertise of TAW management.
R&D projects - TAW provides services regarding:
- Evaluation of ideas
- Preparation of work-programs
- Grants application and contracting process - especially within the European R&D programs, including the organization of consortia
- Project management - including financial monitoring
- Dissemination and exploitation plan - including the marketing of project's products
- Participation as scientific group in applied R&D projects in the fields of expertise
Fields of expertise cover experimental and theoretical plasma physics, nuclear physics, propulsion, fluid dynamics, environmental physics and, generally, multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary applied R&D projects.
This activities are lead by Dr. Shlomo Wald
Dr. Shlomo Wald, General Manager
Born 1950, Physicist with vast expertise in various fields of applied science and technology. Experienced leader of Israeli and international scientific and industrial projects.
Dr. Wald was the first Israeli project-coordinator of a European project following the acceptant of Israel to the 4th Frame Work R&D Program.
Dr. Wald is a senior scientist at the Soreq Nuclear Research Center, Israel (presently on sabbatical leave) and served as the chief scientist of the Propulsion Physics Laboratory.

Born 1953, Clinical Nutritionist & Biochemist.
Mrs. Dorit Wald works at the Sheba Hospital in Tel-Hashomer, Israel and Kupat Holim Meuchedet, Rehovot, Israel.
